ALLOCATE $1B COPPERSTRING IN QUEENSLAND'S FINANCIAL PLAN

Queensland could see a major investment in the nationwide infrastructure with reports of a potential $1 billion injection to the CopperString project in the upcoming spending review. The CopperString project is a proposed electricity transmission that would run from Mount Isa to Townsville, providing much-needed power infrastructure for the state.
